I got the idea for this blog from Letters of Note, a fabulous website that collects fascinating correspondence from the famous and not so famous, including letters from classic Hollywood actors and directors. Having been a fan of old Hollywood films ever since I was a young girl and thinking there must be so much more to be found in terms of classic Hollywood correspondence, I decided to start my own spin-off— a blog dedicated exclusively to correspondence written by or addressed to those who made movies during Hollywood's Golden Age.
With my blog I will try to provide you with an interesting mix of the stars' personal correspondence and film-related correspondence. And along with all these letters, memos, notes and telegrams, I will also give the stories behind them (which in some cases may even be more fascinating than the correspondence itself).
Have I piqued your interest but you don't know where to start? Hop over to the my favourite letters-page and check out some of the greatest correspondence on this blog.

This is a great idea for a website. I also enjoy Letters of Note. Yours is fast becoming one of my favorite places.
